This website is the personal portfolio of Sebastien Ageorges ("I", "me"). There is no advertising, no third-party analytics platform and no cross-site tracking, and nothing is collected without your explicit consent.
Analytics (opt-in only)
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept anonymous analytics. Nothing is collected unless you click "Accept". If you accept, the following is recorded by a first-party script and sent to this site's own server (no third-party analytics service is involved):
Device & browser context: user agent, language, platform, screen and viewport size, connection type, and the GPU model reported by your browser.
Usage data: the page visited, the referring page, time spent on the page, scroll depth, and interaction events (e.g. repeated "rage" clicks).
Approximate region: the server derives a city/country estimate from your IP address using a local GeoLite2 database. The lookup happens in memory and your IP address is never stored.
Random identifiers: a randomly generated session ID (not linked to your identity) used to group pages of a single visit.
Page performance: a small set of loading-speed indicators (Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, and a count/duration of long-running scripts) used to catch performance regressions. It contains no personal information.
This data is stored in access-restricted log files on the server, is not shared with or sold to anyone, and is used solely to understand how the portfolio is used and to improve it.
Cookies & local storage
This site sets no cookies of its own. It uses your browser's local storage for a few functional values:
metrics_consent_status (localStorage): remembers your Accept/No choice for analytics.
metrics_session_id / metrics_sequence (sessionStorage): random visit identifiers, deleted when you close the tab. Only created if you accepted analytics.
sidebarActive (sessionStorage): remembers the state of the navigation sidebar between pages.
Contact form
The contact form (name, email, company, subject, message) is delivered through Formspree, a form-processing service that forwards your message to my inbox. Your submission is subject to Formspree's privacy policy. I use what you send me solely to reply to you, and never for marketing lists.
Embedded content
Some project pages embed players from YouTube and SoundCloud. When such an embed loads or you interact with it, those services may set their own cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies, exactly as if you visited their sites directly.

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time with the button below.
Under Canadian law (PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25) and the EU GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data. Note that analytics logs contain no direct identifiers, so individual records generally cannot be traced back to you.
